  • Introduction

    According to World Health Organization, mental disorders are common in all regions of the world, affecting every community and age group across all income countries. While 14% of the global burden of disease is attributed to these disorders, most of the people affected - 75% in many low-income countries - do not have access to the treatment they need. WHO urging countries all over the globe for a comprehensive, coordinated plan from health and social services in order to promote and prevent mental disorders. Early identification, care, support, treatment and recovery of persons with mental disorders are the key facts in order to be addressed.

    This special issue is focused on mental health care, its aspects, challenges and perspectives. We hope to explore a range of issues regarding mental disorders and mental health care. This special issue intends to be featured in articles on research, clinical practice, and the organization and delivery of mental health care around the world.

    Relevant topics that would be considered for inclusion in this special issue include, but are not limited to:

  • Guidelines for Submission

    Manuscripts can be submitted until the expiry of the deadline. Submissions must be previously unpublished and may not be under consideration elsewhere.

    Papers should be formatted according to the guidelines for authors (see: http://www.nursingscience.net/submission). By submitting your manuscripts to the special issue, you are acknowledging that you accept the rules established for publication of manuscripts, including agreement to pay the Article Processing Charges for the manuscripts. Manuscripts should be submitted electronically through the online manuscript submission system at http://www.sciencepublishinggroup.com/login. All papers will be peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal and will be listed together on the special issue website.
